With a careful insistence, this pollinator parts the flower’s dense, flaring filaments, pushing aside color and pollen as though drawing back a curtain. The bloom resists—too large, too radiant, too alive—but the bee moves with certainty, guided by a knowledge older than language.
 
The flower opens only as much as necessary, revealing its interior reluctantly. Inside is not a single prize, but abundance: light, dust, sweetness, and heat folded together.
