PANIC: Show Us Your Spirit

Acrylic on Canvas
Against a horizon of swelling heat, five silhouetted figures stand calmly, each holding an empty rectangular frame up to the blaze. The inferno behind them is lush—billowing clouds of orange and gold that feel alive and dangerously beautiful. The ground beneath their feet is saturated red, collapsing distance between earth and flame until everything becomes soaked in fever.
The frames become acts of selection. Rather than fleeing the catastrophe, the figures curate it—cropping, containing, and presenting fragments of disaster as if choosing what is worthy of attention. Panic is transformed into performance, crisis into spectacle.
What appears to be a moment of collective terror becomes a quiet ritual of witnessing, asking whether we are documenting the collapse—or participating in it.
