Mercurial Man IV appears to be poured rather than built. Muscles ripple across the surface of the body like liquid mercury—dense, reflective, and never fully still. Lines swell and taper as if the anatomy is in a constant state of melting and reforming, refusing the rigidity of bone and tendon. The back and shoulders flow downward under their own weight, each contour bleeding into the next.
 
Charcoal behaves here like a fluid medium, pooling in dark channels and thinning into silvery highlights. What emerges is not a portrait of strength as hardness, but of strength as liquidity—muscle as motion and continuous transformation.
